Job summary

The State of Washington is hiring a Community Corrections Officer 3 (CCO3) in Spokane, WA. This full-time role includes supervising offenders, enforcing conditions, and providing leadership within the Logan Unit 103.

The position requires firearms qualifications, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with individuals who have criminal backgrounds. Shift is 0800-1700, Monday–Friday, with opportunities to train and coach other officers.

Qualifications

• Armed staff must carry and utilize a department-issued firearm.
• Must possess and maintain an unrestricted vehicle operator's license in Washington.
• Willingness to work with individuals with criminal backgrounds and anti-social behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise individuals under supervision in the community per law and policy.
• Engage with supervised individuals to promote positive change.
• Enforce supervision conditions and law.
• Lead other Community Corrections Officers.
• Act as the Unit Duty Officer.
