Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Communications & Community Engagement Specialist to support internal communications, stakeholder engagement and community outreach for a major pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Huntsville, AL. The role sits within the Program Management Consultant (PMC) team and focuses on clear, timely information delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting to the Workforce & Community Partnerships Manager, the ideal candidate will develop

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field.
5-7 years of experience in communications or stakeholder engagement.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience developing materials for multiple audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

Support execution of the project's communications and community engagement plan.
Develop and distribute newsletters, updates, presentations and leadership communications.
Coordinate communications across channels (email, digital platforms, SharePoint).
Draft messages, briefing materials and talking points for meetings.
Assist with planning employee engagement, events and community outreach.
