Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions is seeking a Communications & Engagement Specialist to support internal and external communications for a large greenfield pharmaceutical project in Newark, DE. You will help ensure timely, accurate updates to project teams, stakeholders, contractors, and government entities throughout design, construction, and startup.

You will develop and execute an integrated communications and community engagement plan, prepare executive briefs and key messages, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field.
• 3–7 years in project or corporate communications.
• Experience with large capital projects or pharma manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and editing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated communications and stakeholder plan.
• Deliver clear communications to teams and stakeholders via newsletters, town halls, dashboards.
• Prepare executive briefs, leadership presentations, and key messages.
• Support engagement with local communities and government representatives.
• Coordinate workforce engagement programs to promote safety and inclusion.
• Support change management with campaigns and impact assessments.
• Plan events and forums for outreach and stakeholder engagement.
• Create, edit, and manage content across channels.
• Establish feedback mechanisms and track engagement metrics.
