Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, VA seeks a Communications and Signal Processing Engineer to perform analysis, modeling, and simulation of radio systems and related signal processing. You will address channel effects and hardware distortions in wideband communications and receiver performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
Coursework in digital communications and signal processing using MATLAB/Python.
Three or more years of industry work experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

Perform analysis, modeling, and simulation of radio systems and signal processing.
Assess transmitter distortions, channel effects, and receiver RF chain impacts.
Conduct studies and analytical trades across comms and signal processing.
Support Civil, DoD, and IC customers with technical analyses and reviews.
Present findings at program reviews and customer meetings.
