The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Communications Systems Engineer to join the Mission Payloads Division in El Segundo. You will work on design, analysis, and implementation of advanced communication systems, including signal processing and waveform design, to support U.S.

government programs and national security objectives. The role requires strong DSP knowledge, programming skills in MATLAB/Python/C/C++, and the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related technical discipline.
• Two or more years of increasingly responsible engineering/scientific experience.
• Fluency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Solve technical problems on projects involving physical layer modeling and simulation.
• Design and analyze communication waveform performance and link budgets.
• Develop and test DSP algorithms and hardware prototypes in lab environments.
• Translate concepts into practical, well-defined technical plans and reports.
