Job summary

This role covers media relations, executive visibility, corporate websites, digital channels, crisis communications, and investor communications. Collaborate with executives, IR, legal, and marketing to craft compelling messaging.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience across corporate communications, media relations, internal communications, and marketing.
• Experience driving comms for a publicly traded company with earnings/disclosure cycles.
• Strong writing and editing across press releases, op-eds, executive talking points, newsletters, and web copy.

Responsibilities

• Support internal meetings content and delivery; ensure consistent messaging across employee channels.
• Assist VP with speeches, talking points, op-eds, and interview prep materials for high-profile opportunities.
• Develop and distribute press releases, bylined articles, media responses; monitor coverage and analyze sentiment.
• Own media database with reporter/outlet profiles.
• Create and post content across Gevo's websites and social channels; manage publishing workflows and analytics.
• Maintain crisis and reputation playbooks; monitor risks and advise leadership on response options.
• Develop an integrated communications calendar; archive statements, press releases, and executive materials.
• Monitor media responses to financial disclosures and investor communications.
• Measure share of voice, engagement, and reach; translate results into leadership recommendations.
• Support event logistics and post-event follow-up with sales/commercial teams.
