Job summary

Gevo, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Communications & Public Relations to lead internal and external communications strategies that advance the company’s vision and reputation.

You will support media relations, internal storytelling, corporate social media, and websites, ensuring effective, cost-conscious delivery across channels. You will help prepare executives for interviews, craft speeches, op-eds, talking points, and briefing materials, and manage press releases, media responses, and

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience across corporate communications, media relations, internal communications, and marketing.
• Experience driving communications, marketing, and PR for a publicly traded company; knowledge of earnings cycles and disclosure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support media relations, internal storytelling, corporate social media and websites, ensuring high-impact, cost-effective delivery.
• Prepare speeches, talking points, op-eds, executive briefs, and interview materials for executives.
• Support development and distribution of press releases, bylined articles, media responses, and media monitoring.
• Create and manage content across Gevo’s corporate websites and social channels; oversee publishing standards and review cadences.
• Maintain communications playbooks for incidents, cybersecurity events, litigation, and workforce actions.
• Develop and manage an integrated enterprise communications calendar including announcements, earnings, and campaigns.
• Monitor investor relations communications and provide follow-up as appropriate.
• Measure and report on share of voice, engagement, and reputation indicators and translate results into recommendations.
• Coordinate trade shows and events, including post-event ROI tracking.
