Job summary

Peak Energy, based in Burlingame, CA, seeks a Senior Manager, Communications to lead corporate communications, PR, and product storytelling. You will partner with the leadership team and cross-functional groups to translate complex technical inputs into clear external narratives and to shape major announcements from strategy through launch.

You will own messaging, executive readiness, media relations, and both product positioning and external storytelling for GTM initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years in communications, PR, product communications, or related role.
• Exceptional writer and editor with press releases, pitches, executive messaging, long-form content.
• Strong media relations and track record of earned coverage.
• Experience with senior executives and advising on messaging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Peak's corporate communications and PR strategy.
• Write press releases, media pitches, FAQs, briefing materials, and exec communications.
• Prepare executives for media interviews and major announcements.
• Develop product and tech messaging in collaboration with Marketing, Commercial, Product, and Engineering.
• Lead launches and GTM communications for partnerships, financing, and milestones.
