Job summary

SCIEX in Marlborough, MA seeks a Head of Communications to drive brand preference and business impact through integrated external and internal communications. You will advise the SCIEX President and leadership team, shaping strategy with Marketing and HR and leading a high‑performing team using modern tools including AI.

You will establish crisis protocols, measure outcomes with robust metrics, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across Danaher’s life sciences platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in communications, marketing or related field, preferably in diagnostics, life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare sectors.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience, including coaching leaders and leading teams.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven success in executive thought leadership and corporate communications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business leader and trusted strategic partner for the SCIEX President and leadership team.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive integrated communications strategy for SCIEX, partnering with Marketing and HR.
• Lead leadership communications for the SCIEX President to drive thought leadership and engagement with stakeholders.
• Lead change communications for SCIEX initiatives, building advocacy and coaching leaders.
• Provide strategic counsel and rapid response capabilities for SCIEX issues, with crisis protocols.
• Establish metrics linked to business outcomes to measure impact and optimize initiatives.
