Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks an experienced Manager to shape external communications and reputation for its Life Science business. You will lead corporate storytelling, disclosures, investor relations alignment, and crisis responses.

Balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution, you will collaborate with Communications, Legal, Finance, and Investor Relations to deliver impactful messaging and innovative AI-powered communications tools across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field, or 8 years equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in external communications, corporate communications, public relations, or journalism.
• Understanding and applying AI concepts in communications workflows and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver external communications for priority business and reputation topics.
• Manage press releases from story development through approval and publication.
• Coordinate Life Science communications for financial results.
• Create external materials including briefings, statements, Q&As, web content, thought leadership, and messaging frameworks.
• Contribute to corporate storytelling and reputation-building programs.
• Coordinate communications for emerging issues and crises.
• Maintain core messages, fact sheets, boilerplate, and communications resources.
• Partner with Media Relations to align announcements with media strategy.
• Develop and deploy AI tools and agents that improve external communications workflows.
