Job summary

New America in Los Angeles or New York seeks a Senior Communications Associate to blend design, video, writing, and social media for our Re-Scripting Gender, Work, Family, and Care initiative. You will translate research into visuals, publish posts on WordPress, and support newsletters with the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in communications and/or design.
• Proficient with major design and production tools (Adobe CC).
• Experience with WordPress or CMS.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and shifts in priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create static infographics and data visuals from audience research.
• Design social graphics, newsletters, and print products per brand guidelines.
• Publish blog posts on WordPress and coordinate page updates.
• Take photos and videos at events; plan, shoot, and edit short videos.
• Plan, caption, and publish social content; engage with audience.
