Job summary

The Ladders is seeking a Manager, Commodity Management and Sourcing to lead procurement and supplier management in Aerospace & Defense environments. This remote US-based role partners with internal stakeholders and suppliers to keep schedules, resolve issues, and drive action closure while traveling domestically as needed.

Responsibilities include developing supplier execution schedules, communicating status, and steering material/technical challenges from a manufacturing perspective.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in procurement or 5+ years with an advanced degree
• U.S. citizenship or eligibility for export authorizations
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience in supplier performance management and procurement
• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain execution schedules for supplier products
• Communicate status updates and challenges to stakeholders
• Drive closure of actions by building relationships with suppliers
• Discuss material and technical challenges from a manufacturing perspective
• Attend meetings via Zoom and maintain a professional presence
• Manage domestic travel expectations of 10-20%
