Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Commodity / Account Manager to lead sourcing activities and end-to-end procurement processes for aerospace-related goods and services.

This remote role emphasizes strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier evaluation within a dynamic aerospace-focused environment. The ideal candidate will drive cost optimization, establish SLAs, and manage the sourcing lifecycle from RFQ to contract execution while ensuring on-time delivery and quality

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Contracts Management, or a related business field.
• Experience in sourcing including RFQ/RFP execution, contract negotiations and Supplier Relationship Management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement negotiation strategies for procuring goods, services, and supplies.
• Execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Establish and maintain sourcing objectives and service level agreements.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other external partners.
• Perform detailed analysis of price proposals, financial reports, and other relevant data to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality standards, reliability, and price competitiveness.
• Conduct supplier research to uphold organizational standards for price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
• Drive and support the strategic planning process for specific commodities or strategic suppliers.
• Lead the sourcing lifecycle, from RFQ to contract execution.
• Monitor supplier or commodity performance to meet delivery, quality, and cost expectations.
