Job summary

Niron Magnetics in Sartell, Minnesota is seeking a seasoned commissioning leader to drive startup activities for a first-of-a-kind iron nitride facility. You will develop plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure mechanical completion and safe, on-time turnovers.

The role requires hands-on field leadership, strong knowledge of systemization, turnover processes, and experience with complex industrial projects.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership of commissioning and startup for complex facilities.
Strong knowledge of systemization, Mechanical Completion, turnover, and handover.
Experience building commissioning execution plans and integrated schedules.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain the commissioning and startup execution plan and schedule.
Convert system definitions into a complete systemization strategy and sequencing.
Develop and manage the integrated commissioning schedule, resource plan, and test scripts.
Define turnover requirements and stage-gate criteria for completion and startup.
Lead system walkdowns, readiness reviews, testing, issue resolution, and readiness reviews.
Coordinate owner personnel, contractors, OEMs, Operations, EHS, Quality and PSM resources.
Ensure all procedures, permits, isolations, spare parts, training and documentation are ready before work.
Establish commissioning controls, daily/weekly reporting, risk logs, and change control.
Prepare for handovers to Process Engineering and provide training to the Niron team.
Support pilot commissioning activities and align turnover interfaces.
