Nscale is seeking a Senior Director, Commissioning and Startup to own the transition of power generation assets from mechanical completion to commercial operation. You will lead the commissioning and startup across multiple data-center campuses, shaping the design for commissionability and ensuring reliable startup.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in commissioning, startup, and operations of power generation or similar heavy process facilities.
• Strong leadership of EPC commissioning teams and OEM specialists.
• Experience with energization planning, first fire, and reliability demonstrations.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end commissioning and startup strategy for power generation assets from mechanical completion to commercial operation.
• Define systemization, turnover, and energization philosophy for each project with MC and turnover packages.
• Develop and approve commissioning plans, schedules, procedures, test scripts, and testing protocols across mechanical, electrical, controls, and protection scopes.
• Drive punch list discipline, walkdown standards, and completion tracking for clean turnover to startup.
• Own demonstration of commercial operation: performance testing and COD evidence package.
