Job summary

Niron Magnetics is advancing a first-of-its-kind iron nitride material, scaling to commercial production in Sartell, MN. The Commissioning Manager will lead system-wide commissioning, startup readiness, and handover to Process Engineering, working with Engineering, Operations, EHS, Quality, and vendors on a tight, safety-focused program.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of commissioning and startup for complex industrial facilities.
• Experience building commissioning execution plans and integrated schedules.
• Practical knowledge of permits to work, lockout/tagout, and process safety.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the commissioning and startup execution plan with boundaries, sequencing, and handover.
• Convert system definitions into systemization strategy and sequencing.
• Develop and manage integrated commissioning schedule, resource plan, and test scripts.
• Define turnover requirements and stage-gate criteria for completion and startup.
• Lead readiness reviews, testing, issue resolution, and punch-list closure.
• Coordinate owners, contractors, OEMs, operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality.
