Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Senior Commissioning Specialist/Engineer to join their Entertainment, Hospitality & Healthcare Buildings team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in commissioning and mechanical engineering design. Responsibilities include reviewing project requirements and creating commissioning plans. This role offers a challenging and rewarding work environment that values diversity and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commissioning, mechanical engineering design, test and balance, and/or building automation system check-out.
• Commissioning certification or extensive installation and BAS programming experience.
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing owner project requirements.
• Performing design reviews.
• Developing commissioning specifications.
• Creating commissioning plans, checklists and tests.
• Performing field visits and observing commissioning tests.

What Your Experience Looks Like
