Job summary

EXP is seeking a commissioning engineer to join their Sustainability Sector, providing commissioning services across North America from Dallas and Houston areas. You will review owner requirements, create specifications, and develop testing plans while traveling to client sites.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years in commissioning or related fields, a commissioning certification or BAS experience, and an EIT is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in commissioning, mechanical and/or electrical design, test and balance and/or building automation system check-out.
• Commissioning certification, or extensive installation and BAS programming experience.
• EIT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Local and Out-of-State Travel to client sites.
• Reviewing owner project requirements.
• Developing commissioning specifications.
• Creating commissioning plans, checklists and tests.
• Performing field visits and observing commissioning tests.
• Working with contractors, in the field, to resolve commissioning issues observed during testing.
• Writing field reports and final reports.
• Creating Systems Manuals.
