Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead end-to-end commissioning activities for new facilities or retrofits, coordinating with architects, engineers, trade partners, and operations to meet contract requirements and ensure compliant project delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years in general construction, with at least 5 years in commissioning bridging field and engineering, plus strong knowledge of MEP systems, BMS, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program with minimum 12 years of general construction experience in MEP/related roles.
• Minimum of 5 years of Commissioning experience bridging field and engineering responsibilities.
• Well‑rounded knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes across trades.
• ASHRAE commissioning certification desired; familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Ability to interpret contract documents, owner requirements, drawings, specs, and project schedules; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Commissioning activities during Level 1 through Level 5 for new or retrofit facilities.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, trade partners, and operations to meet contract requirements and ensure compliance.
• Develop, implement, and manage QC and commissioning plans integrated into the project schedule.
• Collaborate with OFCI/CFCI vendors, QC teams, and project staff to ensure proper documentation and testing.
• Facilitate startup/commissioning meetings and drive continuous improvement in commissioning processes.
