Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a senior Commissioning Manager to lead end-to-end commissioning for new and retrofit facilities. Based on the Indianapolis division, you will ensure adherence to owner project requirements and contract obligations while coordinating with QC, MEP teams, architects, engineers, and trade partners onsite in Lebanon, IN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 12+ years in general construction as MEP engineer/superintendent.
• Minimum of 5 years commissioning experience bridging field and engineering.
• Deep knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes across trades.
• ASHRAE commissioning certification desired or strong understanding of ASHRAE processes.
• Experience with Building Management Systems and environmental controls.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end commissioning activities for Level 1–5 for new or retrofit facilities.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, trade partners, and operations to ensure compliant project delivery.
• Implement policies and procedures to support project schedule and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with QC and MEP teams to ensure checklists and commissioning scripts are followed.
• Integrate startup and commissioning into project schedule with testing, cleaning, and inspections.
• Lead and participate in commissioning meetings and QC plan development.
• Populate online equipment databases and dashboards for inspection checklists and equipment details.
• Review contract documents and owner project requirements for commissioning scope.
• Manage punch list prevention and commissioning deficiencies with project team.
• Arrange third-party testing and inspections and report results.
