Moss Energy is seeking a dedicated Commissioning Assistant Manager to lead startup and delivery of utility-scale solar and BESS projects. This role supervises commissioning teams, manages onsite technical activities, and ensures electrical systems meet safety and performance standards before energization.

The position requires traveling to project sites, coordinating with SCADA and utility partners, and delivering turnover packages in alignment with project milestones and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commissioning of solar/BESS electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical testing methods and field procedures.
• Excellent communication and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel extensively to project sites across states.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise the testing and commissioning of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, including inverters, transformers, and BESS power distribution equipment.
• Oversee the execution of NETA-based testing such as Megger, VOC Testing, VLF, and TTR.
• Manage startup, energization, and troubleshooting of AC and DC components, guiding field technicians.
• Review complex drawings and one-line diagrams to verify installation quality and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with construction leads, SCADA teams, and utility partners for system integration.
• Review and finalize commissioning documentation, test results, and turnover packages.
• Enforce safety protocols and NEC/NFPA 70E compliance across the team.
• Audit energy isolation procedures (LOTO) to ensure zero incidents during transition to operations.
• Assist the Commissioning Director with resource planning, scheduling, and progress reporting.
