Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Frederick, MD is seeking a seasoned Commissioning Engineer to lead end-to-end commissioning for new and retrofit facilities, ensuring operations meet owners' project requirements.

You will coordinate with QC, MEP teams, vendors, and trade partners to execute commissioning plans, test scripts, and project schedules, while maintaining documentation and quality control throughout turnover to the client.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Commissioning experience that bridges both field and engineering responsibilities.
• Well-rounded knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes across all trades, means and methods, and materials their characteristics, installation procedures and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Commissioning activities during Level 1 through Level 5 for delivery of new or retrofit of existing facility.
• Collaborate with Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment vendors for efficient installations and provide feedback to client and QC Managers.
• Manage Commissioning and QC plan per contractual turnovers to client.
• Coordinate with project site Quality Control (QC) and MEP teams for testing and commissioning.
• Prepare and manage Start-up and Commissioning schedules integrated with project schedule.
