Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in commissioning, MEP engineering, construction management, or building systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, controls and life-safety systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems across multiple projects.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans, checklists, and functional performance tests.
• Perform design and constructability reviews to identify operability concerns.
• Review MEP designs and provide recommendations for optimization and value engineering.
• Conduct field inspections to verify installations meet specs and requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, design teams, and stakeholders throughout turnover.
• Verify completion of corrective actions and manage commissioning documentation.
• Support scheduling by coordinating startup, testing, and turnover activities.
• Review shop drawings and project documentation for accuracy.
• Mentor junior staff and promote commissioning best practices.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development.
