SOLV Energy seeks a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead testing, commissioning, and energization of utility-scale HV substations, BESS, and PV facilities. This fully remote role involves travel and collaboration with Owners, Utilities, OEMs, and Field Services.

You will develop energization procedures, review protection schemes, supervise engineers, and ensure safety and compliance with industry standards. PE license or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years in testing, commissioning, energization of HV substations, BESS, PV facilities.
• At least 5 years leading commissioning on complex utility-scale projects.
• At least 2 years of engineering leadership or supervision.

Responsabilités

• Develop Testing & Commissioning plans aligned with project specs and interconnection requirements.
• Create detailed Initial Energization Procedures for HV substations, BESS, and PV systems.
• Serve as engineering authority for complex commissioning issues.
• Review protection philosophies and relay settings for readiness.
• Lead energization activities and field coordination.
• Review and approve commissioning reports and test documentation.
