Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience commissioning HVAC, refrigeration, or related systems.
• CCP, CxA, or BCxP certification preferred or required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to perform design reviews and read construction documents and specs.
• Strong technical writing and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning from design review through owner turnover.
• Perform design reviews and review shop drawings to confirm systems meet requirements.
• Review commissioning documentation and field reports for accuracy before sign-off.
• Execute and document functional performance testing on complex systems.
• Consult with owners, designers, and contractors to resolve open issues.
• Communicate findings and recommendations through clear, data-driven reports.
• Mentor commissioning technicians and contribute to team quality standards.
• Deliver final commissioning reports and represent Cushing Terrell in meetings.
