Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience commissioning HVAC, refrigeration, or other electrical systems.
• Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), Commissioning Authority (CxA), or Building Commissioning Professional (BCxP) certification.
• Strong technical writing and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning efforts for HVAC, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems from design review through owner turnover.
• Perform design reviews and review shop drawings to confirm systems meet Owner's Project Requirements and Basis of Design.
• Review commissioning documentation, functional test forms, and field reports prepared by technicians, and verify accuracy before final sign-off.
• Execute and document functional performance testing on complex systems using data loggers and measurement tools.
• Consult with owners, designers, and contractors to resolve open issues and confirm project requirements throughout construction.
• Mentor commissioning technicians and contribute to team quality standards and checklists.
• Deliver final commissioning reports and represent Cushing Terrell in project meetings.
