The role oversees day-to-day operations, supervision, and the development of staff while aligning with budget and strategic goals.

The ideal candidate has a professional appraisal designation (MAI/ASA/MRICS), a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), and 8+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• 8 years related experience.
• Commercial – General (Appraisal) License required.
• Professional Designation required (MAI, ASA, MRICS).
• Engineering License or Certification preferred.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide guidance and lead others through change.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates complex appraisal reports to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policy.
• Recommends action to achieve compliance for unacceptable reports.
• Assesses validity of existing appraisals and evaluations.
• Directs day-to-day operations of the commercial area of the department.
• Oversees scheduling, performance evaluations, and salary recommendations.
• Supports development and monitoring of departmental strategies and budget.
