Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance is required.
• 5–9 years of experience in commercial underwriting.
• Strong analytical skills for documentation and evaluating owner-occupied commercial real estate transactions and C&I.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze commercial loan packages to assess creditworthiness.
• Prepare financial statement and tax return spreads for analysis.
• Underwrite and structure complex deals including C&I and construction loans; draft CAMs for approval.
• Recommend risk ratings and potential restructurings based on underwriting findings.
• Maintain underwriting files and ensure adherence to policies; support audits.
