Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced underwriter to support underwriting and monitoring in a high-volume national workflow. You will work with Relationship Managers and Solutions Advisors to understand structuring needs, delivering financial modeling and loan analyses to support loan decisions.

The role requires 2+ years in commercial banking, strong analytical/technical skills, and the ability to communicate across teams and externally.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of solid Commercial Banking experience.
• Experience in financial analysis, structuring, and underwriting.
• Analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate vertically, horizontally, and externally.
• Industry knowledge across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Supports both underwriting and monitoring in a high-volume national workflow queue.
• Independently works with Relationship Managers and Solutions Advisors to understand structuring needs and requirements.
• Delivers financial modeling, loan structure, industry, economic, and other analyses to team members to support the loan decision-making process.
• Underwriters have single signature authority for certain credit transactions.
