Old Republic Title is seeking a Commercial Examiner to search and examine commercial title records and create accurate title commitments and reports in a timely fashion. You will focus on basic to moderately complex title orders and answer member questions while resolving title issues.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong reading of legal descriptions, and the ability to collaborate with management and clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn new information and build knowledge over time.
• Strong reading and interpretation of legal descriptions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in analyzing title records and identifying issues.
• Capable of working in a time-sensitive production environment.

Responsabilités

• Search title records to identify records impacting basic to moderately complex orders.
• Organize results into an accurate chain of title for orders.
• Examine leases, liens, easements, and other documents for validity.
• Prepare final title products with attachments and tax info.
• Handle complex orders requiring higher title expertise.
• Occasional overtime as requested by management.
