Job summary

Omari Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee all jobsite activities in Gaithersburg, MD. You will lead field crews, coordinate subs and suppliers, and ensure projects meet safety and quality standards.

Partner with the Project Manager to plan phases, manage resources, and control costs while promoting a strong safety culture compliant with OSHA requirements. This role requires at least 8 years of commercial GC experience and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial construction experience (GC experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of building processes, sequencing, and safety standards.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all jobsite activities to ensure safety and quality.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain schedule.
• Conduct daily site inspections, log results, resolve field issues.
• Partner with Project Manager to plan phases, manage resources, control costs.
• Promote a strong safety culture and OSHA compliance.
• Oversee closeout, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
