Job summary

Leola Construction seeks a Commercial Project Manager to lead field crews and subcontractors on multiple commercial sites in Hillsborough County, FL. You will drive the shell sequence from foundations to structural sign-off, ensuring schedule adherence and high-quality workmanship.

You will coordinate with clients, engineers, and vendors, manage materials, and maintain strict safety and accuracy across projects, while aligning with company standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as a Field Superintendent or Project Manager or a 4-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Business.
• Proven track record managing ground-up commercial construction projects such as car washes, storage facilities, gas stations, or similar builds.
• Hands-on experience with concrete slab and foundation work, masonry, and structural framing.
• Ability to effectively direct Field Superintendents and subcontractors while managing multiple project scopes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, professional communication, and the capacity to navigate unforeseen jobsite challenges.
• Experience with construction management software such as AppWright, SupplyPro, or similar builder platforms.

Responsibilities

• Direct concrete, masonry, and framing subcontractors and internal field crews across multiple commercial jobsites.
• Oversee the full shell sequence on ground-up commercial builds from foundations to structural sign-off.
• Own the master schedule, milestones, and coordinate trades to minimize downtime.
• Ensure work meets Florida Building Code and liaise with inspectors for smooth inspections.
• Walk the job to enforce layout and workmanship per specs.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, superintendents, engineers, and vendors.
• Manage material deliveries, inventory, and equipment scheduling to avoid delays.
• Communicate project status, changes, and field updates to the main office.
