B&I Contractors, Inc. seeks a Commercial Sheet Metal Quality Control professional to implement and maintain the quality management system for on-site projects, focusing on mechanical duct systems and air-side equipment.

You will manage quality documentation, oversee NCRs, coordinate with project teams, attend client QA meetings, and help drive continuous improvements while adhering to ACC, Procore, and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of field experience in commercial sheet metal systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sheet metal specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially with layout and installation concepts.
• Proficiency in basic math and ability to perform relevant calculations.

Aufgaben

• Control and distribute quality documentation for sheet metal projects.
• Monitor quality activities focused on sheet metal fabrication and duct standards.
• Attend client quality management meetings and represent QA interests.
• Prepare project-specific quality system documentation including ITPs.
• Oversee NCRs and RCLs disposition and corrective actions.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities with the Project Manager and Site Superintendent.
• Archive project documentation upon completion.
• Assist with hands-on sheet metal tasks to verify installation quality.
