B&I Contractors, Inc. in Florida seeks a QA/QC specialist with 5+ years of field experience to oversee quality documentation and related activities on large-scale mechanical projects.

You will attend client meetings, manage submittals, and coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure compliance and timely resolution of nonconformances. The role requires blueprint reading, problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Procore and iPad.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience or related degree/certifications.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Strong problem-solving with mapping concepts understanding.
• Able to perform precise mathematical calculations.
• Experience with Procore or similar software.
• Proficient using an iPad and mobile devices.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle materials per OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Control and distribute quality documentation for the project.
• Monitor quality-related activities on the project.
• Attend client quality management meetings.
• Prepare and control project quality system documentation.
• Monitor disposition of nonconformance reports.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate quality-related correspondence with customer representatives.
• Close all customer complaints and maintain records.
• Perform light admin tasks and assist the Project Superintendent as needed.
