B&I Contractors, Inc. seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Piping Quality Control professional to implement and maintain the quality management system for mechanical piping projects in Florida.

You will ensure compliance with ASME/ASTM and local codes on-site while coordinating with project stakeholders to meet quality objectives. The role requires extensive field experience, strong documentation skills, and proficiency with Procore and construction management tools.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of field experience in commercial piping systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and piping specs.

Responsabilidades

• Control and distribute all quality documentation for assigned piping projects.
• Monitor and oversee all quality-related activities on the project, focusing on piping standards.
• Attend client quality management meetings and represent the project’s QA interests.
• Prepare and maintain project-specific quality system documentation, including ITPs.
• Oversee disposition of NCRs/RCLs and implement quality improvements.
• Coordinate QA/QC with the Project Manager and Site Superintendent.
• Maintain quality-related communication with customer representatives and inspectors.
• Monitor and report quality performance metrics.
• Resolve customer complaints related to piping quality and installation.
• Archive project documentation per company procedures.
• Perform light admin duties to support the Project Superintendent.
• Perform hands-on piping tasks at project sites to verify installation quality.
