Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing in Baltimore is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations, supervise roofing crews and subcontractors, and implement safety and best practices on commercial projects. You will read project manuals, coordinate with GCs, owners, and consultants, and drive projects to meet schedules and budgets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

This salaried, OT-exempt role requires 5+ years in commercial roofing and strong communication, with travel to multiple

Qualifications

5+ years of Commercial Roofing experience.
Experience with various Commercial Roofing systems (single-ply, torch, hot rubberized asphalt, metal, coatings).
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and understand blueprints / shop drawings.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel to and manage multiple job sites.
Proficiency with Outlook and Excel preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise commercial roofing crews and subcontractors.
Read and understand project field manuals of various roofing systems and manufacturers.
Ensure company safety procedures are implemented and followed.
Attend and participate in project meetings.
Establish / maintain lines of communication with external and internal customers (GCs, Building Owners, Owners Representatives, Consultants, Project Managers, Estimators, etc).
Ensure projects are completed in the most efficient manner to meet project schedules and budgets.
Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
