Job summary

Tecta America seeks a General Superintendent to lead roofing service and maintenance crews, overseeing recruitment, training, and retention of the maintenance workforce. This role partners with the maintenance manager to ensure consistent repairs, service quality, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include training on safety, best practices in roofing inspections and maintenance, and planning for maximum productivity of manpower, materials, and equipment across multiple jobsites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 8–10 years related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general procedures and regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; present information to groups.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Instructs roofing service, inspection and maintenance best practices.
• Trains employees on safety procedures and safety equipment.
• Educates employees on roofing materials, tools, and proper use.
• Teaches roofing terminology and inspection techniques.
• Develops and runs education programs for new hires and roof techs.
• Recruits, trains, mentors, and retains maintenance workforce.
• Partners with maintenance manager and other superintendents on training, retention and policy.
