Job summary

Tecta America Corp. is seeking a Superintendent to oversee commercial roofing crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety and adherence to best practices on multiple sites.

The role requires coordinating with project teams, reading blueprints, and maintaining clear communications with customers to meet schedules and budgets. Field leadership and travel to job sites are essential aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Roofing experience.
• Experience with various Commercial Roofing systems (i.e.- single-ply, torch, hot rubberized asphalt, metal, coatings).
• Strong interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints / shop drawings.
• Ability to multitask on various tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to travel to and manage multiple job sites.
• Computer literate in Outlook and Excel preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise commercial roofing crews and subcontractors.
• Read and understand project field manuals of various roofing systems and manufacturers.
• Ensure company safety procedures are implemented and followed.
• Attend and participate in project meetings.
• Establish / maintain lines of communication with external and internal customers (GC's, Building Owners, Owners Representatives, Consultants, Project Managers, Estimators, etc).
• Ensure projects are completed in the most efficient manner to meet project schedules and budgets.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
