Qualifications

Strong knowledge of personal computer and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to prepare documents and compose business letters and memorandums.

Responsibilities

Interviews loan applicants and analyzes data to determine creditworthiness.
Establishes and negotiates terms under which credit will be extended.
Collects and analyzes information reflecting creditworthiness of customers and loans.
Presents loan requests to executive loan committee for high-value proposals.
Authorizes or rejects overdrafts within authority.
Monitors loan repayments and collects past-due accounts.
Advises customers on business management and financial matters.
Develops new business by contacting prospects and cross-selling bank services.
Prepares lending activity reports for management.
Keeps informed on economic and legislative events affecting lending.
Participates in community affairs to increase visibility.
Maintains professional relations to enhance opportunities.
Performs other assigned duties.
