Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical is seeking a seasoned Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our West Babylon, NY team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial HVAC/refrigeration, an active EPA certification, and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial HVAC service or refrigeration.
• Active EPA certification required.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including compressors and controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance on ice machines and coolers.
• Replace defective parts and ensure proper operation of equipment.
• Coordinate with dispatch to complete scheduled jobs and meet timelines.
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians on best practices and safety.
• Maintain safety procedures and quality standards on all jobs.
