FirstCall Mechanical in West Babylon, NY seeks a seasoned Commercial Refrigeration Technician to diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, and electrical controls. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance on ice machines, coolers, freezers, and other refrigerated systems, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols

Qualifications

• EPA Refrigeration Certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial HVAC/refrigeration.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems including compressors and controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance on ice machines, coolers, freezers, and related equipment.
• Repair or replace defective components and explain issues to customers.
• Mentor apprentices and coordinate with dispatch and customers.
