FirstCall Mechanical in West Babylon, NY is seeking a seasoned Commercial HVAC Technician to join our rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will diagnose, service, and install HVAC systems (15 tons+), including controls, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification is required for handling refrigerants.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• 5+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC setting; able to diagnose complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of problems and failures in HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Perform maintenance and service repairs, install new units or replace parts on systems 15 tons+.
• Maintain larger PM contracts with multiple units.
• Repair or replace defective parts and controls in units.
• Troubleshoot mini-splits and smaller RTUs as applicable.
• Communicate with Dispatch to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for customers.
