Job summary

Truist is seeking a senior CRE analyst to lead the mortgage loan analysis function in our Atlanta loan production offices. You will support underwriting, submissions, and closings while training analysts and ensuring high-quality work.

You will read market surveys, develop borrower relationships, and analyze NOI, leases, and financial statements to guide lending decisions in a fast-paced CRE environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent
• Three years as a commercial real estate analyst or equivalent
• CCIM designation required
• Completion of MBA/real estate finance related training preferred
• Proficient with real estate databases and Argus

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial real estate analysis function in loan production offices
• Provide high level analytical support for mortgage loan applications and submissions
• Assist in underwriting, approval and closing of mortgage loan transactions
• Train loan production analysts
• Oversee workload and quality of mortgage loan analysts
• Represent Grandbridge Real Estate Capital at industry events
• Read market surveys and advise on CRE trends
• Create and maintain real estate data files
• Attend meetings with borrowers and lenders to develop relationships
• Analyze complex real estate properties and financials for producers
• Obtain and analyze data for mortgage loan submissions from owners, borrowers, lenders, third parties
• Inspect properties, take photos, and map conditions
• Interview owners, tenants, third-party providers as needed
• Analyze leases and NOI to estimate property performance
• Analyze borrower's legal and financials per lender requirements
• Prepare preliminary and final loan submissions in Word/Excel
• Order and track appraisals, environmental/engineering studies, credit reports
• Review third-party appraisals for lender compliance
• Track transaction through closing and obtain required information
• Interface with borrower and lender; negotiate loan applications and closings
• Understand property types and lending parameters
