COR Partners seeks a Senior Property Adjuster in the Baltimore/Washington DC market to determine loss extent for commercial property claims. You will inspect sites, gather facts from claimants and experts, and collaborate with carriers to develop accurate estimates and coverage interpretations.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in commercial property loss adjusting, strong communication skills, and a license or ability to obtain one in the assigned state.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and relevant loss adjusting experience.
• 2–5 years’ experience in commercial property loss adjusting, including catastrophe claims.
• Knowledge of property claim law and construction industries.
• Active license, or ability to promptly obtain one in the assigned state(s).

Responsabilidades

• Investigate claims across diverse settings and assess loss/damage.
• Conduct property inspections and photograph claim sites.
• Interview claimants and experts to gather information for accurate loss estimation.
• Coordinate with experts, attorneys, and carriers as needed.
• Prepare clear reports and recommendations for insurers.
• Ensure accuracy and guard against fraudulent claims.
• Use estimating software (e.g., Xactimate) to produce estimates.
• Maintain thorough field notes and records.
