Columbia Insurance seeks a Commercial Property Field Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, and adjust minor to moderate commercial property claims. This role involves on-site inspections, assessing damages, and preparing detailed estimates for timely resolutions.

Strong communication, negotiation skills, and proficiency with estimating software are essential. The position requires 3–5 years of experience, knowledge of policy forms, and the ability to travel within the assigned territory.

Formación

• Minimum 3–5 years of commercial property claims adjusting experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial property policy forms and endorsements.
• Experience with field inspections of commercial properties.
• Ability to interpret policy language and coverage matters.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel within territory and hold an adjuster license or obtain one within 60 days.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct on-site inspections of insured commercial properties to assess damage.
• Document damage with photographs, measurements, and reports.
• Evaluate coverage, review endorsements, and determine applicable limits and deductibles.
• Prepare repair or replacement cost estimates using approved software.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and issue payments and documentation.
