gpac in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own and lead high‑level commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll drive strategy, client relationships and project profitability, coordinating owners, architects, engineers, subs and field teams.

The role requires 10+ years GC experience, proficiency with Procore and MS Office, and a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and on budget.

• 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Proven GC experience and handling complex projects.
• Strong understanding of preconstruction, estimating, contracts, scheduling and closeout.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Confident client-facing leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, contracts, buyout and procurement.
• Oversee financials, forecasting, billing, cost tracking and profitability.
• Lead coordination among owners, architects, engineers, subs, vendors and field teams.
• Drive preconstruction efforts including estimating, constructability, value engineering and planning.
• Lead project meetings (OAC, kickoff, subcontractor coordination).
• Review plans and contracts, identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals and other docs.
• Address challenges involving design, schedule, cost and contracts.
• Maintain relationships with owners and stakeholders; hold subs accountable.
• Partner with Superintendents and field leadership; mentor PMs, APMs and engineers.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule and financial objectives.
