Job summary

GH Engage is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to lead complex construction projects across healthcare, education, government, and commercial sectors in the Southeast. You will manage budgets, schedules, and teams, while maintaining client relationships and ensuring safety and quality from preconstruction through closeout.

The role requires at least 8 years of commercial construction experience, including 3 years as lead PM, with proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Primavera

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of commercial construction experience, including at least 3 years as lead PM
• Experience delivering projects valued at $20M+
• Experience with CM-at-Risk, design-build, or competitive bids
• Proficiency with Procore or similar PM platform, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Ability to read构 Construction drawings and specs
• Strong communication skills for client-facing work
• Travel between Hampton Roads and Richmond project sites

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Lead preconstruction budgeting, constructability reviews, VE, and bid packaging
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting
• Negotiate and administer subcontracts and purchase orders
• Maintain project schedule with field superintendent and recovery plans
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, and change orders and ensure documentation
• Chair meetings and produce minutes, reports, and client communications
• Coordinate field ops with schedule and site logistics
• Champion safety program and enforce OSHA standards
• Oversee quality control and conformance to contract documents
• Manage closeout, punch lists, commissioning support, and final billing
• Mentor younger team members
• Support business development through client relationships
