Octopus Energy is hiring a Senior Commercial Operations Analyst to own pricing across residential and commercial products, contracts, and underlying analyses.

You will support day-to-day commercial operations, generate ongoing and ad hoc reports, and collaborate with sales, finance, operations, and tech to structure deals and optimize processes. A lean, fast-moving team environment offers autonomy and paid time off, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability with data, able to explain numbers clearly.
• Experience building models and commercial reports using Python or SQL is a plus.
• Comfort working across pricing, contracts, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and support pricing across the business: product prices, customer contracts, and the analysis that sits underneath them.
• Support day-to-day commercial operations, including analysis and reporting.
• Produce clear commercial reporting and ad hoc analysis for the team and stakeholders.
• Work with commercial, sales, finance, operations, and tech on weekly priorities and deals.
• Improve how we work by building better tools and reports and reducing manual workarounds.
• Operate with independence on projects within a lean, fast-growing team.
