Job summary

Securian Financial is seeking an Asset Management Operations Sr. Analyst to manage surveillance, risk, and servicing for a $7.5B commercial mortgage loan portfolio.

You will analyze loans, monitor covenants, maturities, and insurance, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve servicing matters. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in CRE lending or loan servicing, a finance-related degree, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial real estate lending, loan servicing, or portfolio management.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, business or related field.
• Strong financial analysis and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple servicing matters.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; knowledge of Tableau/Box is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor loan performance, covenants, maturities, and insurance requirements.
• Conduct annual property reviews and analyze financial statements.
• Coordinate with legal and CML partners on servicing matters.
• Maintain data accuracy in systems and calculate debt-service metrics.
• Follow up on late payments, taxes, and insurance deficiencies; escalate when needed.
• Support portfolio reviews and prepare analyses for leadership.
