HDR is actively seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee contract and financial management on critical water infrastructure projects in California. You will support Project and Program Managers, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with HDR policies.

The role requires a strong background in contracts, project controls, and leadership, with the ability to mentor others and work in a fast-paced environment. HDR offers employee ownership and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, business, law or equivalent.
• 7+ years in Architecture/Engineering/Design-Build/PM or equivalent.
• Experience developing contracts, administering and negotiating changes.
• Knowledge of contracting practices and regulations in country of work.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Implement contract management and administration procedures in compliance with HDR policy.
• Mentor and train project management staff.
• Collaborate with project managers to administer ongoing contracts.
• Monitor contract documents for conformance and track deliverables.
• Prepare subcontract work for engineering, planning and services.
• Identify contractual implications of changes and enforce quality control.
